Already is in multiple western countries (the Commonwealth ones). The same ones that have several time higher sexual violence against women and children than those pedophillic Japanese. As Nogami Takeshi said in his interview with the BBC: "Why don’t you British people just do what we Japanese do since we are more civilised and have lower crime rate?”.

It's only like 3 countries and even then it hardly takes at serious value outside of sheltered ones and, surprise, pedophiles who use it as a cover story.

Speaking from the US.

I'm pretty sure it already is illegal in several US states. It varies though, iirc. In some of those states, it's equal to cp. In some it's considered an obsenity and rarely results in anything happening. The common assumption seems to be that they use it as an excuse to seize your stuff if they think you may be in possession of real cp.

on a federal level? I want to say it's unlikely to happen for a while. It's protected federally as of now. But as generations grow up and the people who don't observe a distinction between lolicon and cp gain positions of power...who knows what could happen. It *shouldn't* be allowed to be made illegal in federal law, but when there's a will, there's a way.

I noticed they switched the "loli" tag for "petit" and "tiny breasts." I just assumed they did that as a preventative measure when payment processors went nuts last week; was there something else that happened with DLSite??

You can make anything illegal (see walking your elephant on the streets). Enforcing the law becomes a whole different dilemma. That's when you get into the nitty gritty and realize it infringes on constitutionally protected speech and cause their law to be thrown out, or appealed to a higher court.

I was going to post a hardass speech but just summarize it into this:

Puritanism is stronger than ever.

Nobody believes in consumerism responsibility anymore. In fact, consumerism responsibility doesn't exists anymore.

Folks think pathological pedophiles have no will choice or conciouss thinking.

Folks think lolicon is pedophile/potential predator content no wonder.

Politicians are folks.

Lolicon becoming illegal in all US countries is completely convergent. Just hope consumerism responsibility and liberals come and save that shit.
